Char-lotte Online Pools Rules. 1) Concept Char-lotte Online Pools has been set up to help Clubs, Societies, Organisations and Charities, however large or small, to raise the all too necessary funds to keep alive. 2) Participation If your Club, Society, Organisation or Charity can satisfy the criteria that you ‘benefit the community’, you will be given a unique id number. We then request that you promote us, say on your website and generally recommend that your members and friends visit our website and play Char-lotte Online Pools. The customer/player when playing the game will give us your unique id number, which will ensure that their donation will go to you. The more you promote Char-lotte Online Pools the more funds you receive. 3) Who can play (a) and qualify for funds (b)? a) You must be 18 years of age or older to participate and have completed the Registration correctly. b) Any Club – Society – Organisation – or Charity, whether Professional or Amateur, for Youth or Senior, that are affiliated to a main body such as BAF – FA etc., and has a Club/Society/Organisation/Charity Bank account, where we can send your raised funds. (Must not be an individual) Groups of People such as Youth clubs, Sports clubs, Running and football clubs, Play groups, Nurseries, Carers groups, even Schools and Hospitals etc., a ‘benefit to the community’. 4) What we can give to you Most Clubs, Societies, Organisations and Charities haven’t the membership or funds to run this type of game. We can offer this facility to you free from work and charge. The game has the capacity to generate very large prize funds and rollovers etc., and the website is full of additional features. If you do not have a website, probably because of cost, we can offer a service to put one together for you at a very low cost. Please e-mail us for details. 5) Security With all internet business there are many aspects of security to enter into for both your safety and ours. a) To be able to operate a game of this type, which has been determined as a ‘Football Pool’, we by law, have had to be registered by our local authority, as a Pools Promoter. We have entered into an agreement that, our accounts will be audited weekly by an independent accountant, appointed by that authority. b) The website is on a dedicated server supplied by BT and has firewall protection. c) We have a Secure Card Facility which is an independent card processing facility processing cards between Banks. d) We also have a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificate to encrypt card information. e) We are registered under the data protection act. f) Char-lotte.com databases are encrypted for which each entry or group of selections will have its own unique id number. 6) Registration It is important that all customers/players complete the registration form with correct information. Your User name should ideally be 4 letters or more and your Password should be 6 letters &/or numbers. Each time you are required to ‘login’ you must use your “User name” and “Password” advised when you first registered. If you forget your User name/Password you can ‘click on’ “lost Password”, enter your e-mail address that you registered and your User name and Password will appear. A confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address confirming that your ‘playing account’ has been set up. 7) The Game a) The game will be played on the internet only. b) 49 matches will be displayed on the website for the coming Saturday. c) For a £2 stake a customer/player will play 5 games. d) Each game will consist of 10 matches. 8) Object of the Game The object of the game is for the customer/player to forecast the highest total points in PART one. All draws, score and no score draws will count as 3 points, Aways 2 pts, Homes 1 point. Therefore the highest possible points total would be 30 points. We will pay 6 dividends – 30,29,28,27,26 and 25 points. Should no customer/player win a particular points score e.g. 30 pts then all monies in that pool will be rolled over to the next date that games/pool will be played. PART two. Within the same game, if the customer/player is unsuccessful with his points score he can check for Aways only. There are 3 dividends for Aways - 10,9 and 8. As in part one, should no customer/player have 10,9 and 8 Aways, the monies for that pool will rollover to the next date that games/pool will be played. PART three. Also within the same game, if the customer/player is unsuccessful in parts one & two he can check for 10 Homes. One dividend. The monies for this pool will rollover to the next date of games /pool should no customer/player be successful. 9) Pools and dividends a) A Pool - is a pot of money that has been invested/created by a group of customers/players who have agreed that the Pot of money will be shared/divided equally between the winners. b) A Dividend is the declared amount the winners of that Pool will receive. c) There are 10 Pools in each game (Part one 6, Part two 3, Part three, one). d) Each Pool will receive 5% of the total stake monies to share between winners. 10) Rollovers A unique feature of Char-lotte Online Pools is that all 10 pools have the possibility of being rolled over should no customer/player be successful in any one of them. 11) Matches/Kick off times/Abandonments/Pools Panel a) All matches to count will be those that kick off at 3 pm (1500hrs) on a Saturday afternoon. Should a match kick off before this time i.e. Noon (1200hrs) on a Saturday, then the webmaster will stop the selection of that Number/Match being selected from when that match was officially due to kick off. Your selections will count for that number/match if made before that time. All other matches will be available to be selected up to 3pm (1500hrs). b) Abandoned matches – the result will be as at the time of Abandonment. c) All matches that kick off after 5pm (1700hrs) on a Saturday or are Postponed, to be played at another date, will be decided by the official Pools Panel whose results will be confirmed in the National Press. d) Matches that kick off after 5pm that are televised will count and the Pool Dividends will be declared on the completion of that game or games. e) Void matches will count as a 0-0 draw. 12) Cost or stakes For a £2 stake – a customer/player will play 5 games. (Each game has 10 pools, therefore each customer covers 50 pools per £2 stake.) 50 games (Cost £20) can be played each session. A customer/player can go back and play more games if they wish. 13) Claims You will be notified on the claims page whether you are a winner or not.
